The attic in the big house/ El ático de la casa grande

My first dollhouse was a Christmas present from my boyfriend. When I tore the paper and saw the box of a dollhouse, I couldn't do anything but crying. I was allways looking at the dollhouses on the windows and thinking, man I wish I had one, but never dared to actually buy one. He gave me that.

-----

-----

Well that house is not still finished. My 'decor style' or taste has changed as I've been getting into this hobby, so I'm always changing everything. From the wallpapers, to the furniture or decoration items.

-----

-----
Anyhoo, tha attic has been my special project and I pictured it in... what colour? Yeah, soft purple, violet you may call it.

For the attic I made this patchwork for the bed. A little bit rough, but you know how hard stitching those small squares can be.
A close up?

-----

Then I bought this desk with this chair and painted both. I'm not a big fan os this furniture anymore because I have discovered the joy of making everything yourself from scartch, but some pieces are really good and you can customize it yourself.

-----

Then I made a fireplace, than nows need to be updated (my technique with paperclay is now very much better, thanks to Nikki and her post over her blog. It's far from being perfect, but I have learn a lot).

-----

Then I made this (you've already seen it here)
 -----

And the whole thing looks like this. Dont you just love the tiny Maneki Neko?? An love the typewritter that my very good friend Sonia gave me, you know, because I'm a journalist. I can picture myself writting my first novel at that desk with that typewritter!

-----

An like this.

My mum embroidered the carpet. You can see here
Mi madre cosió la alfombra. Podéis verla mejor aquí.

Now, I want to tore the violet carpet and put 'hardwood' tiles, paint the ceiling white.

----

Do you like my attic? I could live ther forever

Os gusta??

Un saludo a todas!

the buttercup cottage, so far / La Cabaña Campanilla hasta el momento

So It looks like this

Ahora mismo, está así

I'm painting it a really dark almot black green and plan to paint the trim in white. Dont know yet about the roof tiles, maybe black, maybe light wood...

Hey, above the house, on that self, you can see the gift that I got from Angela Schiavone, on the Christmas Swap that Rossana held over her blog. They are waiting for me to finish the project and find a new home. But, in the meanwhile, I love them on that self! Thank you Angela!

Maybe a close up?
Un primer plano??
BTW, that's a picture of us at the background a couple of summers ago.Oh, sure we were young and careless!!

This is the bay window from the outside,

And this is the from the inside, I covered it on paperclay, and I'm planning to do it all over the first floor, with beams over the ceiling.

Can you picture yourself reading over that wood bench on a summer afternoon? I can!!!

Now, it's time to buy the electric system but dont have any idea how that works. Any tutorial you know will be welcome!!

And here is my handsome
